Memories of South Hiram...new exhibit opens at History House

A new exhibit opens on Saturday June 4, 2016 at History House.  Memories of South Hiram will bring back lots of memories for those of you who grew up in Kezar Falls.

The photograph on the left is looking east on Main Street.  You can just make out the South Hiram Post Office in the background.

South Hiram kids pictured include, front, Tim Stocks, Dave Bucknell, Ed Pendexter.  Back left, Billy Nason, Pat Sargent, Dwight and Gary Gilpatrick.

The South Hiram Elementary School, now the town office, is shown in 1916 below.

 

 So, mark your calendar for Saturday 4 June 2016 from 1 - 4pm and come to History House to share your remembrances of South Hiram.  Bring along any old photographs too so we can scan them and add them to the collection.  Quilt raffle tickets will be available as will Garden/Artist Studio Tour tickets which will be on June 25, 2016.
